This year has definitely been off to an interesting start. And it feels so strange trying to go on like normal—creating content, being a mom, and building a brand—while it feels like the world is both figuratively and literally burning. But here we are. My husband often chastises me about putting my head in the sand and living in an ignorant bubble, but with three young kids and the challenge of staying afloat, sometimes it feels like a matter of survival and mental preservation.
In such an interconnected world, with 24-hour news cycles, doom-scrolling, and the digital world constantly vying for your attention, it can be hard to create a mental boundary around how much we let in. I’ll be the first to admit I love social media, but sometimes it’s a gamble. Am I going to read some horrific headline designed specifically to target my fear and anxiety—clickbait dangling mercilessly in front of me, taunting me to click and enter a world of dark, sadistic commentary?
We are entering a new paradigm shift, and I have been feeling the energy shift around me. With Pluto moving into Aquarius for the first time in over 200 years, we are seeing a great collective shift… ya know, if you believe in that sort of thing… (wink wink). Pluto moved into Aquarius on January 20, 2024, and will stay there until 2044, marking a huge generational shift. Pluto governs transformation, power, destruction, and rebirth, while Aquarius rules innovation, technology, revolution, humanitarianism, and the collective consciousness. This means we're in for a deep transformation in society, power structures, and technology.
